Apliu Street in Shamshuipo, Kowloon

At the end of Apliu Street where it crosses onto Yen Chow Street just between the Dragon Centre and the Cheung Sha Wan Government offices.

The Dragon Centre shopping arcade is a great place to visit with lots of funky little shops, particularly upstairs in the "Apple Mall".  Fashion, accessories and everything for the on-a-budget-fashionista it is a must-see for anybody interesting in Korean and Japanese influenced fashions.

A range of eateries from nice sit-down Chinese restaurants to a food hall also give you lots of options.

An Ice Rink stands out as a rather strange addition to the mall which does get used, unlike the sadly disused indoor rollercoaster which is now a sad hulk.

Flea market and Piece Goods

The Electronics Flea Market and the Piece goods shops are the most famous parts of Aplui Street, but this important street has a long history and even now is home to a vibrant community.

Look out for the photography equipment shops, and spend some time in the public sitting out areas.

Finally don't miss all the nearby attractions.
